Using aptamers that control protein activity,
we take on the challenge of elucidating life systems.
This research area aims to create "aptameric biology," a novel approach to elucidate the biological function of proteins. We propose to elucidate living systems through pathway-specific and flexible control without genetic modification by introducing aptamers that regulate protein activity into model animals.
