Courtesy Visit by Prof. Owusu of the University of Ghana

March 10, 2016 - The delegation led by Prof. Ebenezer Oduro Owusu, Provost of the College of Basic and Applied Sciences paid a courtesy visit to TUAT President Matsunaga.
TUAT and the University of Ghana have signed a university agreement in 2000 and since then, both universities have been exchanging students and carrying out international collaborative research on the agricultural field.

In addition to TUAT President Matsunaga and the Vice President of International Relations, Dr. Masaomi Tsutsumi, the meeting was also attended by Prof. Atsushi Chitose of the Faculty of Agriculture, Assoc. Prof. Masaaki Yamada of the Institute of Research for Agriculture, Prof. Siaw Onwona-Agyeman of Foreign Languages, and Prof. Tatsuo Noma of the International Center. The group exchanged views for a more active student exchange in the future through programs such as the TUAT Short-Term Exchange Program in Science and Engineering (STEP) and the MEXT Scholarship.
