Quynh Anh Nguyen (M2) gave a talk about medical image analysis of bone scintigram at the seminer of ESIEE Paris - Université Gustave Eiffelat in Paris, France.
Prof. Shimizu gave a talk about computational anatomy models using digital topology at the seminer of CNRS in Cern, France.

Mr. Zhong “Sacrum and ilium segmentation of MR images for diagnosis support of axial spondyloarthritis”
Mr. Ogura “Bone erosion detection in a diagnostic support system for axial spondyloarthritis with MRI using deep learning”
・MR. Ogura was awarded JSAS@Kobe’s JSAS dragon award.
Medical image analysis laboratory has collaborated with many universities, public research institutions, and companies. In 2019, we have collaborated with universities (the University of Tokyo etc.), two public institutions (RIKEN etc.), overseas universities (ESIEE Paris(France) etc.) and research institutions (Children’s National Health System(USA)), and other domestic companies. Knowledge of programming languages, AI, mathematics (linear algebra, mathematical analysis, statistical mathematics), signal processing is required to conduct the researches in our lab.
