You can join our lab through the lab assignment held in the third year. If you are interested in biology, genes, or RNA, please come and visit. Seeing the atmosphere in person is the best way to find out whether the lab suits you.

You can enter the master’s program through TUAT’s Graduate School of Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies in April or October. Applications usually open from mid-June to late July, with the entrance exam at the end of August and results in early September. There is also an option to be exempted from the written exam in early June, so prepare early if you plan to use it. Please feel free to contact us first.

You can enter the doctoral program through BASE in April or October. Entrance exams are held several times a year—for April entry, in July, October, and February. We are flexible in discussing research topics, so please contact us early if you are considering a PhD.

Working professionals can also join us through the BASE entrance exam. We are happy to discuss research topics, though projects aligned with the lab’s direction are easier to pursue. Research centered on data analysis can be done remotely, and you can join seminars online. We offer flexible support, so please feel free to ask.

We welcome applicants for the JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship. We will revise your application together several times and give feedback to refine it. Because this takes time, please contact us by around February if possible. Even without experience in the piRNA field, we hope to combine your expertise with new projects in our lab to open up new directions. We look forward to hearing from motivated applicants.
