I attended the Tomari Lab's 20th Anniversary Party
The day before the party, Benny, who used to do research with me in the Tomari Lab, came to visit the Shoji Lab. He is the first author of this paper.
It had been a while, but he looked well, which was great to see.

On the day itself, I also gave a short talk.

As a thank-you gift at the end, I received magnets of journal covers featuring the lab’s papers (two were enclosed at random). (It’s a little scary that the lab has appeared on enough journal covers to make random packaging possible...)
Luckily, I got the one from my own paper, and the other was also from a piRNA paper!
I also received other wonderful souvenirs, such as stickers and cookies.

I hope the Shoji Lab will keep working steadily toward our own 10th and 20th anniversaries.
