Wildlife-management educational program

Methods used to manage wildlife vary according to factors like the ecological characteristics of the species being managed, the purpose of the management, the system used for management, and the target area and governing body. Therefore, initiatives based on collaboration and the sharing of information between various stakeholders are essential. This is why the Center aims to train the following through its wildlife-management educational program (the Model Core Curriculum):

〇 Professionals who can scientifically understand the population trend, habitat and damage caused by wildlife through specialized knowledge in fields such as ecology, wildlife conservation and management, wildlife damage management, vegetation science, natural resource management, forest policy, rural planning, and more.

〇 Professionals who can adopt an overall perspective of the challenges rural communities face such as wildlife management and harm to the agriculture and forestry, and who can solve those local issues by devising plans and targets, implementing them, and monitoring

〇 Professionals who can work to build a consensus through smooth communication with local agencies and concerned parties while leading the way to a solution for community problems
