We climbed Mt. Takao, ate hot pot, and had a barbecue

Since we have new students who joined us in April and short-term exchange students from Thailand, we held a few events.

First, we went hiking up Mount Takao.
Some of us took the cable car part of the way up and then made our way to the summit from there.

Everyone was scattered about, so in the end, we weren’t able to take a group photo with everyone in it.

On another day, we went to a hot pot restaurant in Takadanobaba to eat hot pot.

In addition to our group, members from the University of Tokyo’s Tomari Lab also joined us, so a total of 17 of us went out to eat.

We also had a barbecue at Koganei Park.

We held the barbecue jointly with the neighboring Suzuki Lab.
It was a lot of fun.

There were quite a few events, but I hope this will help us bond and work together on great research.
