We Attended the 8th APSERI 2025

We attended The 8th Asia-Pacific Congress of Sericulture and Insect Biotechnology (8th APSERI 2025), which was held at Kyushu University’s Ito Campus from September 17 to 19.

This was the Shoji Lab’s first time participating in a conference. Since it was being held in Japan, our very first conference ended up being an international one.

We visited Kyushu University’s Ito Campus. It was a bit of a challenge because it’s somewhat far from Hakata, but it was a wonderful campus—very spacious, clean, and beautiful.

The venue itself was also a very large auditorium.

The fourth-year undergraduate students who joined the lab this year also worked hard and presented posters (their first conference presentation). Because it was an international conference, they prepared both the posters and the presentations in English, and they did a great job. They received many helpful questions and constructive comments, and we would like to make good use of them going forward.
