A paper has been published in Mol Cell!

This paper describes a mechanism that suppresses transposons, which are harmful elements, by automatically changing shape in response to transposons.

Press releases were also issued by Nippon Institute of Technology and the University of Tokyo. I tried to write it in a way that is easy to understand for people who are not familiar with biology. Please take a look if you are interested. The content is the same. https://www.iqb.u-tokyo.ac.jp/pressrelease/20250324/ https://www.tuat.ac.jp/outline/disclosure/pressrelease/2024/20250319_01.html

In addition, the paper was selected for the cover of the journal.
