At the 62nd Annual Meeting of the Biophysical Society of Japan in Kyoto, Iwabuchi-san, Yamaji-san, Fujita-san, Sato-san, Nakada-san, Hagiri-san, and Shibayama-kun gave poster presentations. Fujita-san received the Student Presentation Award!

CHEMINAS49 was held, with Dr. Kawano serving as the executive committee chair. Dr. Iwabuchi, Jiajue-kun, Nitta-kun, Emura-kun, and Shibayama-kun gave poster presentations. Emura-kun received the Outstanding Presentation Award!

The spring softball tournament of the Department of Biotechnology was held, and the Kawano lab participated as a joint team with the Nakazawa lab and Mori lab. The result was 4th place!

Prof. Aleksei Aksimentiev and Takuya Mabuchi visited and gave excellent talks on MD simulations in our lab. Their presentations were impressive and stimulating.
We also had a great time enjoying a Tempura Soba lunch together!
