Research Topics
Our reserch topics are described here.
Ad Hoc Networks
Ad hoc networks are wireless networks where the terminals are able to communicate with each other without a base station.
Possible applications include, for example, emergency communications at disaster areas.

Cognitive Radio
Cognitive radio (CR) systems are able to dynamically detect and allocate the available radio resources by sensing the radio spectrum environment.

MIMO
Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) is a technique for high data-rate communications
which is achieved by transmitting multiple data streams by using several antennas at both the transmitter and the receiver.

Array Signal Processing
Array signal processing enables accurate signal detection and direction of arrival (DOA) estimation with multiple antennas.
Single antenna receivers can also detect a signal, but multiple antenna receiver achieves more accurate detection.
Moreover, single antenna receiver can not estimate DOA. In our laboratory, the main research topics are accurate signal number and DOA estimation.
