Our research team is creating a novel cyanobacterial system, designated as "Cyanofactory", for the production of biofuel-related compounds. The Cyanofactory realizes the sustainable production of biofuel-related compounds based on synthetic cyanobacterial processes with minimal energy and waste.
本研究では海洋シアノバクテリアの有する優れたバイオ燃料関連化合物生産能力に注目し、バイオ燃料関連化合物の生合成ならびにバイオプロセスを人工的に高度に制御し、かつ藻体からの当該化合物の回収プロセスまで一貫してデザインした「シアノファクトリ」を開発することを目的としています。
