The Laboratory offers a dynamic doctoral program which trains students in
theory or/and in practical application on nonlinear fault detection & fault tolerant control of
thermoelectric conversion elements and some new systems actuated by
distributed control system (DCS) device, and the program also deals with robust nonlinear control by smart material actuators
(Piezoelectric materials, Shape memory alloy, Ionic polymer-metal composite, etc.).
